I am Mechanical Engineer and worked under Government of India for a long period. I have retired as General Manager / Deputy Director General of a very large manufacturing unit under Govt. of India.

My interest i Philately developed at an early age. This interest in Philately as hobby was sustained. I have attended numbers of international Philately Exhibitions in India.

I have worked as Assistant Commissioner General in Indepex Asiana 2000 held in Kolkata. This is an international Philatelic Exhibition held by Govt. of India and under the patronage of FIP. Almost all Asian countries attended this Exhibition.

I am interested in all aspect of Philately with special emphasis of Indian Philately.
