The Profile of Mr Poh How Der

Hong Bao has always being a part and parcel in Chinese tradition. A packet of
monetary value of pairs, is given to both aspects of life –happiness and sadness.

Started collecting Hong Bao just as mere “ red money packet “ but as years went by, became very engrossed and took a daring decision, to start to collect them
seriously. Their uniqueness in colours and richness in legacy, further made in to
be involved very deeply.

As a hobby, it became very attached as my “flesh” and started to collect them in
various ways – exchange, receive, contact, friends, shops and clubs.

My collection varies significantly in various size and uniqueness in depiction.
My many years of perseverance and tolerance in Hong Bao collecting has earned
me the nickname title of “ Hong Bao King”.

My collection are exhibited at Stamp/Hong Bao Exhbition drawing a large crowd
of the public and collectors.

These Hong Bao collections are now embedded, as my soul and are now part of my life as bread and butter and are very dear. I will continue to collect them, till I can.
